January Update

Welp, looks like I skipped November AND December! New year, new start or something right? This month was a good one, I made what I feel are some of my strongest images since moving to Gillette, so hopefully that trend continues.

Here are a few of my January favorites (I'll throw in a few from November and December at the end since I didn't post any of them yet.)

JANUARY

DECEMBER

 Lakeview principal Dale Petersen rides Zeke Williams's new bike down the hallway on December 22. The bike was donated to Williams by the YES House who worked with local businesses to give away 74 new bikes to children around Gillette.

    Donna Hottell has been working as an aide on one of Campbell County School District's special needs routs for the past five years. Hottell has forged an incredible and deeply personal bond with many of the students who ride her route, and can often be found spending time with them outside of school as well.

 Jessie Geer is returning for her final season at Campbell County High School before departing in the fall for Utah State University. Geer has been supplementing her basketball workouts with a CrossFit training program, "Pretty much Crossfit and basketball are my life. That's all I do," says Geer.
